Now is the time to develop a retooling strategy and build your toolbox for the new economy! What’s in your toolbox? Whether your goal is to switch careers or build upon a past career, you’ll likely need to retool for your career transition.

This virtual Lunch and Learn webinar, presented by the Experienced Workforce Initiative in Asheville NC, will focus on several essential components of the retooling strategy.

You’ll learn from individuals 50+ who have retooled successfully and transitioned into a new, or slightly different, career path. They’ll discuss the following topics:
  • The importance of defining your goals and transitional skills.
  • How do you research the current and evolving labor market in your area to expand your job search?
  • Where to find free or reduced-cost education and training options to obtain valued credentials and certifications.
  • And, the importance of building your network and support system.
